Russian companies may be allowed to pay their foreign counterparties in cryptocurrency.
This legal initiative is elaborated by the majority party of the Russian parliament and supported by the Federal Tax Service and Ministry of Finance.
Paying in crypto may be the payment solution under sanctions and problems with wire transfers.
Russian companies will be allowed to buy cryptocurrency at official crypto exchanges only. Individuals will be also entitled to buy crypto, but as investments only.
