Russia is acknowledged to be the most attractive emerging market for investors.
Due to the energy crisis the Russian market has become the most promising and ruble has become the most rising currency in October (Bloomberg).
U.S. policy and real estate crisis in China made the Russian market advantageous for foreign investors (last week, in accordance with Kommersant, they invested about USD 170 mln into Russia).
Due to increase in oil and gas prices, Russian shares were the most attractive, says Bloomberg. Gasprom, Lukoil, Rosneft and Sberbank were in big demand last week.
Other factors of Russia’s investment attractiveness were Russia’s reserves exceeding USD 600 bln, low external debt and Central Bank’s measures aimed to control the inflation.
