Russian Parliament reviews a draft law that employment documents may be in electronic form.
Every company will be entitled to decide that employment documents shall be in electronic form only (apart from documents that are required to be on paper by law). A company shall specify what informational system will be used for e-documents turnover as well as elaborate internal regulations and procedures.

A company shall inform all employees – and if more than 50% of employees agree, the company will be entitled to introduce e-document turnover for all employees. An employee may ask the company to provide him/her with a copy of an employment document on paper or in electronic form.
It shall be mentioned that currently more than 300 companies approved by Russian Labor Ministry participate in an experiment on electronic employment documents.
