Russian Government has elaborated a draft law that allows companies to ensure the liability of their top managers. Currently this type of insurance is not common in Russia.
\nJoint-stock companies and limited liability companies will be allowed to insure the liability of a CEO, members of the board of directors and of the management board, as well as the liability of other key managers (financial director, chief accountant, etc.). The insurance shall cover the damage inflicted to the company or to third parties by omissions of the company\u2019s managers.
\nThe terms and conditions of an insurance contract shall be approved by shareholders.
