\nCurrently these payments to employees are done by Russian companies and compensated to the companies by the state Social Security Fund.
\nThe new payment method was preliminarily tested in some Russian regions. The test is acknowledged successful and direct sick leave and maternity payments from the Social Security Fund will be introduced since 2021 all over Russia.
\nDirect payments will be done automatically (based on an electronic sick leave certificate issued by a doctor).
