Russia and Belarus have signed an agreement that each country shall acknowledge the visas issued by the other country.
Foreign citizens who have a valid visa or a residence permit of one country are free to visit the other country. The new regulation shall however not affect work and study. A foreign citizen is allowed to work or study only in the country that have issued the visa. The new regulations will enter into force later, when all internal procedures will be accomplished by both countries.
